Commitment to Safety
For over twenty-five years Industrial Hydro-Blast has operated with the belief that nothing is more important for our commitment to our customers and our employees than our commitment to safety. We believe it is our obligation to foster a work environment that exceeds our customers’ standards of safety and maintains a safe job site for our employees. To achieve this goal, we hold ourselves to the highest level of safety training and awareness.
In order to ensure our employees maintain best practices in industrial settings, we maintain training in general industrial health and safety. This includes: Lockout/Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), walking and work surfaces, fall protection, machine guarding, electrical safety, and occupational noise. We also require and facilitate site specific training for all employees as required by our customers.
It is also essential to maintain safe practices while working with and around our equipment. Employees at Industrial Hydro-Blast are trained to OSHA standards regarding powered trucks, hand and power tools, aerial lifts, scaffolding and ladders, as well as general accident prevention. Employees are also trained in the safe use of our more specialized cleaning equipment both in-house and on the job site.
Many of the services we offer at Industrial Hydro-Blast require us to work with and around chemicals which may be hazardous or toxic. Our employees receive full HAZMAT and HAZWOPER training as well as training in respiratory protection, flammable and combustible liquids, and fire protection. Additionally we maintain awareness training for a variety of harmful industrial compounds such as benzene, lead, and hydrogen sulfide.
The safety training of Industrial Hydro-Blast employees begins with employment, is regularly refreshed, and is maintained in accordance to the most up-to-date OSHA standards and regulations. Industrial Hydro-Blast employees remain prepared for incidents on the job site through training in First Aid and CPR as well as hazard communication and the danger of bloodborne pathogens. Additionally, all employees are MSHA certified as well as certified for Confined Space Entry.
